Roland Alpha Juno 2
With digital oscillators and analogue filters, the Alpha Juno 2 was one of the first digital synthesisers that took a step away from the consistently harsh timbre of its predecessors. I bought this for $450 from Songbird Music in Toronto, and sold it -- or, rather, am in the process of selling it -- for $200. Why the price drop? The sale is to a friend, and, unfortunately, a couple of the touch sensitive keys stopped being sensitive over time, and I do not have the patience or time to fix it. I played it for a year, or so, at the Rex, when I had a weekly gig there from 2003 - 2006.
