      This photo is familiar. My great great grandfather worked with Calendar Cables which after the war merged with British Insulated cables to become British Insulated Calendar cables. He was involved with the manuafacture of the first transatlantic telphone cable which was laid by the Great Eastern. I think this photo may have been taken during that installation.
      Unfortunately the family photo album has been lost to another branch of the family.
