      Ah ah !! Finally that long lost secret recipe.
      Is it a true legend that you make the pudding several months before Christmas to let it age on the window sill ?

      I'm hardly a cooking expert, but yes, the Christmas Puddings were made well before to 'mature' ;-))

      I make my Christmas cakes in October and dose with brandy every fortnight until Christmas, in between doses they are kept in a sealed tin.
