Individual photographs have been separately catalogued and digitised.; Title from caption list.; Condition: Good. Collection of photographs of Drouin, Victoria most of which were taken by Jim Fitzpatrick, who worked as a photographer for the Australian Information Service from 1942 to 1976. These idealised images of rural Australian life during World War II were taken for propaganda purposes and were made freely available for publication overseas. The subjects of the photographs include: family and domestic life, school children, portraits of local people, women in non-traditional occupations, enlisted men on leave and the butter factory. There are also a number of aerial photographs of the town.
