Lac Anosy Antanananarivo

This an artificial lake at the heart of Antananarivo. It has been digged by the slaves at the time of monarchy in Madagascar. It has a shape of the heart and it is always green. The place is surrounded by administrative quarters, University hospitals, Municipal stadium and sports palace which was actually offered by the Chinese Government. There are beautiful purple jacarandas circling the lake.
