The Rush

The Rush

Been very busy to work, i miss shooting landscape. Got this one from my old files hopefully i can go out and shoot landscape pictures again.

Mayon Volcano, also known as Mount Mayon, is an active stratovolcano in the province of Albay, in the Bicol Region, on the island of Luzon, in the Philippines.

Renowned as the "perfect cone" because of its almost perfect conical shape, Mayon is situated 15 kilometres northwest of Legazpi City.

On October 13, 2008 it was included in New7Wonders of Nature Top 10 list. However, it did not make the cut to the Top 25 finalists, giving way to the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River, another site in the Philippines.

On December 20 2009, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHILVOCS) raised Mayon's status level to Alert Level 4 because of an increasing lava flow in the southern portion of the volcano and an increase in sulphur dioxide emission to 750 tonnes per day.

Oh Lord, as Thou art good and the Lover of mankind, forgive me wherein I have sinned today in word, deed, and thought.

Welcoming 2010 with Nagsasa Cove along with my friends Mon, Weng, Arvhin, Jar, Jieson, Randy, Cherry,Hazel,Kristen and Che. Two days and one night of camping in this wonderful place. It feels so good to be back shooting landscape.

Nagsasa Cove is twice the distance of Anawangin Cove from the shores of Pundaquit Zambales. The place is inhabited but occasional Aetas who travel around and will be willing to accompany you if ever you decide to trek the hills and forests behind the cove or nearby mountains.

Streams and waterfalls run water down from the mountains and will sometimes be a better place to hang out as the water can be cooler compared to the water from the beach. But they dry out during the hot summer and dry seasons.
