iPhone stand in action

I'd been after a nice looking digital clock for the bedroom for ages, so I was pleased with the 'Digital Clock' app from the iPhone App Store.
It's quite customizable (colour, brightness and digit style) and auto-rotates. Only problem is you have to leave it on all night - which used to drain the battery almost flat, until I discovered the 'Airplane Mode'!

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

It turns off all the radios - wi-fi, 3G, GPS etc. You can't receive calls or texts, but who wants to during the night anyway?

@*PeSa* - with the Airplane mode on and the brightness of both the phone and the clock app turned right down, it uses about half the battery charge overnight
