Why I'm rollerblading to work tomorrow

So after work on Super Tuesday, I rode my trusty bike to my voting precinct. In my rush to vote for Ron Paul (I still believe Paul!!) I parked my motorcycle on a tract of land near the entrance--a novice mistake for a motorcycle rider who should have noticed the spongy quality of the grass when parking.

It was a rainy day, so after voting, I found that my kick stand had seeped into the ground and caused my bike to tumble into the street.

Two gentlemen helped me lift the bike, but it is out for the count for now until an expert replaces the non-existent turning signal light and takes a look at my major oil leak problem.

So, without engine-oriented transportation, my mom graciously drove me home, where we decided to wait out the tornado warning.

So.... I am going green tomorrow and I'll see how sweaty I get on my rollerblades after two miles on my way to work. Who knows? Perhaps I'll beat the traffic. I'll certainly be more stylish and urban.

I have learned my lesson though. I am going to park the rollerblades on a hard surface.
