Terracotta Army

The Terracotta Army ("bing ma yong"), was discovered March 1974 near Xi'an, Shaanxi province, People's Republic of China. The army consists of more than 7,000 life-size tomb terra cotta figures of warriors and horses buried with the first Emperor of Qin in 210-209 BC.
