Editor's note: has there ever been a city that embraces the night more than New Orleans? :)
From approximately 220 miles above Earth, one of the Expedition 26 crew members aboard the Earth-orbiting International Space Station recorded this night time image of the greater New Orleans area. A 200-mm focal length was utilized to capture the image.

Hahaha! I wish I could offer you that! On the images, I'm kind of limited to what I can pull from the Spaceflight site for my purposes. But are you familiar with the Gateway to Astronaut Photography? Might they have something like that?

Yes, they do in fact have that information.
So, for example, here's the alternate version of this New Orleans photo, and here's how that site renders the EXIF data as raw text. So you've got the camera model ("NIKON D3S S/N: 2007934"), shutter speed, aperture, ISO speed, focal length, etc.
Additionally, some of the photos, like this one of Onekotan Island, Kuril Islands, Russian Federation (which recently went to Flickr here) have a lot more data, like the position & trajectory from which the photo was taken. That doesn't always seem to be available, but it's nice when it's there.
Anyway, any modern camera — clearly including the fancy ones the astronauts are using — will record a lot of this information automatically. All you have to do when publishing to Flickr is to do so in a way that preserves that data, such as by dragging the image files straight from the camera [obviously not totally an option in this case, but you get the idea] to Flickr's own, free, cross-platform Flickr Uploadr, which can preserve the EXIF data automatically.
I thought that the White House was doing this with their Flickr photos, but now I can't find any examples — it's possible they've changed their policy and have gone back & deleted this information for some reason, but they had been publishing it for a while there.
But if the way you're doing these Flickr uploads doesn't make preserving the EXIF data feasible, that's okay, as you can at least have the caption on these photos link back to the Gateway to Astronaut Photography version. Everything you're putting here has a little code at the bottom corner, like in this example "ISS026E020611". Note that that translates to parts of the web address on the official NASA site, where "mission=ISS026", "roll=E", and "frame=020611", which when strung together turns into the url eol.jsc.nasa.gov/scripts/sseop/photo.pl?mission=ISS026&am.... So maybe you could make the standard image credit line be a link back to that target, for example.

Do you know what it means, to miss New Orleans...
Great photo!!! Two other areas you could squeeze in are the "Irish Channel" and "Garden District."
