I was lucky enough to go out with the family and share in this once in a life time event with them. I had went to an observatory where excitment was high. Though, the cloud cover, n rain dampened our moods. When I got home, I decided amongst a thunder n lightening storm in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to check the weather of the rest of the World during this event.

From the places that I checked: Japan, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Africa, Canada, the US (cept Arizona/California (clear with about 24 degrees), still checking), Ireland, etc all have cloud cover, and in most instances have lightening n rain.

I find myself asking if Venus's transition had much to do with our weather here on Earth.

Ok, I'm now going back to the thunder n lightening storm currently going on for the last 2 hours.

It was great in Hyderabad, India - clear sky with a small cloud cover at ~9:30 a.m. which cleared within 5 minutes. Now I can live in peace for the next 105 years.
