Natural Hair Doll-3

Natural Hair Doll-3

I turned a straight hair doll into a curly natural one, inspired by posts on CurlyNikki and Beads, Braids, & Beyond. She’s a Barbie Beach doll, on sale for $5.50 at Target. Using pipe cleaners, I curled her hair and dunked it in boiling water for 10 seconds. Let it dry overnight and used a blow dryer to fully dry the hair. Took the pipe cleaners out, trimmed the straight ends and separated the curls. Voila! The final result closely resembles my own hair (ha!) and I know my niece will love it.
