Every kitchen needs a cozy seating area surrounded by open shelves to display family pictures and collections. The shelving behind the doors on the left was designed to be a bird cage. Remove the shelving and there's plenty of room for a medium size feathered friend. The drawer below the doors is actually a pull out cleaning tray.
