This happy grasshopper was just sitting on the doorsteps of my parents-in-law. It didn't seem to be scared of me at all, maybe the weather was too hot or the grasshopper too lazy :)
Shot hand held with Nikon D7000 and Sigma 150mm F2.8 at ~ closest possible range.
I used 1/1000 sec exposure with F/10 and ISO 1600.
Typical thunder storm after a humid and hot summer day in Finland. Me and my family were having a barbeque on the balcony when the storm hit. The storm was over in like 30 minutes. This picture was taken on Saturday, July 23rd.
Shot with Nikon D7000 using Tokina 11-16mm @ 11mm. I used continuous exposures of 1/6 seconds with f/11 and ISO100. About every 100th frame had one or more lightning strikes in it.
