I suppose if this global warming which is translating to local cooling is going to continue, we are going to need to figure out a way to bicycle without tossing salt all over the streets. I think winter tires would be pretty cool actually, high profile tires that maybe have messages written in them to print on the snow, like 'this is the way home ->' and so on.
