You could sooo sell/market those.

I could just see all the hipsters in the burg and downtown wearing them.

Even I want one (and I'm a guy)

Isn't it a bit heavy though?

Nadya Peek  Pro User  says:

It's not heavy, but it catches a lot of wind, making cycling and driving in a convertible unpleasant. But who does that anyway...

And here I am, walking after taking a cab, running into Nadya complaining that I need to cycle more.

Nadya Peek  Pro User  says:

I'm joking. Of course you have to cycle. It takes me only 25 minutes to cross Amsterdam, (but then again is that me, or is that Amsterdam?) and it takes you 15 minutes to get to the station. Silly boy.

(and I just put the processor in my pocket in the meanwhile. whoever said you have to suffer for fashion can do all that suffering himself.)

ok..totally stupid idea...(but i'm semi-famous at the UN for these... my life used to read like spy vs spy / international romance novel w/ the femme fatal scientist fiance and the diplomatic immunity bit(that was mine)...so some slack if you would)

you could totally get your spy on with this. you need a jacket with lots of freaking wires...a ipod as the hd...and ipod mini set up as a ram drive..get one of those bluetooth enabled spy glasses to take photos with the infrared displays...use a bluetooth phone as the wpa, bluetooth receiver and a cordless ear piece (they are very small almost invisible) and have the processor mount on the lapel...

then when you think the popo are making their way to /security is catching on, you wear it as a earring...

or a sequence (is thats how it's said?) dress...no one would notice the wires in with all the "bling".

you just can't dance though...or else it will over heat...
(I could see the scenario where the evil dr. such and such challenges you to a dancing competition)

voila

Off to the patent office I go...

Nadya Peek  Pro User  says:

But whoever would I want to spy on? Not that I don't like your idea. Especially the glasses. And the dress. And the jacket.

There is another problem. I once wore a ethernet cable as a belt because I thought that would be cool, and it set off all the store alarms in the vicinity.

Then I decided to wear a port 1 cable as a belt, and that was even worse. (People didn't even think that was cool. apparently outdated cables are uncool).

So a wired jacket would probably involve similar highly conspicuous problems.

Marco Wessel  Pro User  says:

What is a port 1 cable? A ribbon cable? Did you rip it from that pc we found on queensday?

Perhaps if you punched holes in it so that none of the actual wires are longer than, say, 5cm it wouldn't keep setting off the alarms.

Nadya Peek  Pro User  says:

No, I'm not that skinny, I wore the stolen computer ribbon cable as a headband for about 5 minutes before deciding it was too hippyish. I'm not sure what to do with it now.

I mean the cable you would connect to port 1. Or 2. Only once I had a dual port computer was that possible. And later the daisychain peripheralia. You know, printers and stuff.

By the way VivaAntarctica, it's spelled sequins. If you mean the figure skater stuff that is. However, if you would make a suit out of the stuff, you could hide so much more...

Well...you could be a spy for hire ...free lancing till some big corporation/NSA (no such agency) picks you up. Then you get the penthouse and Ferrari (hybrid of course) so your commute would go form 25/15 minutes down to 3/2 minutes

or you could be a ninja! Store security is no match for a ninja! (Ninja's and pirate monkeys seem to be very fashionable as of late)

Plus with a "sequins" outfit you could help yourself to as many diamonds as you want (the antartican sort...not the african sort, maybe the israli sort(ugh) but not the african sort...(those are mined by defenseless little kids and only perpetuate a culture of hate)

The ribbon...umm as a bracelet?
headband is a bit hippish...unless your playing tennis.

ok ok i admit it...it's a half baked idea, but I love the earring!

You could probably make the sequins function as antennae, too.

VivaAntarctica says:

LASERS! it needs "frekin lazers"

ok the glasses would have automatic defusers in them...they would also be the sort to auto dim in the sun..but faster than the civilian equivalents...They would also come in perception lenses if needed...

So you would take a laser pointer, point it at one of the sequins. The beam would then bounce off the beads untill they would reflect off one another and prism out till they blinded the room (also good for clearing laser fields/blinding infrared cameras/ knocking out night vision systems)

you would be saved via your glasses...effects would not be permanent so you could sleep at night.

Later on as you build your evil empire (if you choose to do so...but have you ever heard of a "good empire"?) you could get sharks...then you could attach the lasers to their heads....that way..

SHARKS WITH FREKI'N LAZERS ATTACHED TO THEIR HEADS!!!

Or those deep sea fish with the lights dangling in front of their mouths as bait. The ones with the suction power. Anglerfish.

(Oh wait, I just googled them and they're the size of a football. Nevermind...)

ya, but nemo is a goldfish. What if the laser headed sharks come round?

Marco Wessel  Pro User  says:

Nemo would be insulted to hear that you called him a simple goldfish. I'm sure he's quite proud of being a clownfish. Except for the everlasting 'Hey, you must be funny.. Tell us a joke' thing of course.

VivaAntarctica says:

Nemo would be insulted? What about me? All I ask for are "frekin sharks with frekin lasers attached to their frekin heads"... is that really asking too much? really?

I mean...how else do we (in the royal sense , meaning you)torture spies/double agents/republicans/Miss Hilton/walmart execs/terrorists?

or we (you) could mutate the Angerfish as to augment their size....however, only if we (me) could attach lasers to their heads!"frekin lazers!"

So let's consider it 2 lines of defense/offense around your castle... the sharks for the higher up/semi shallow areas, anglerfish for the deeper areas

That way...
"FREKI'N SHARKS WITH FREKI'N LAZERS ATTACHED TO THIER FREKI'N HEADS!!!!"

Marco Wessel  Pro User  says:

Well, you see, the sharks are on the endangered species list. So clearing up the red tape on that would take months.

We experimented with piranhas that had lasers attached to their heads, but the lasers were too heavy so they just sank to the bottom and died.

The best thing we could get were the mutated sea bass. They are quite ill-tempered though. They'll eat trough a lamb leg in mere seconds.

Well …I have been cryogenically frozen for the last few decades….give me a break.

My #2 should have handled accounts payable…you know him as Marco….

Marco… is this why we’re holding the world hostage for 1 mill….I’m sorry I mean one hundred billion usd, or do I have to talk the billing department directly?

….

I’m back and they tell me the checks in the mail (the G8) so….ummm …yeah

Now sharks!

Also #2…we need to find the person that came up with fitted sheets….they are impossible to fold! Yet we are forced to fold…Genius! (this is the real reason for cold war…Russia claimed it could fold fitted sheets…the US said NAY! Impossible….

What the KGB would do is raid department stores at night in the US and mess up the sheets…forcing all the store employees to have to work overtime folding the fitted sheets. Slowly causing the market crash of the 80’s. mean while they would reserve some new un tampers sheets for the Russian negotiators.

They would then hold up the new sheets as proof they had folded them…the US cried hooliganism!

And thus was the start of the cold war…

Thus when the KGB ran out of resources to purchase new sheets and was forced to admit defeat…thus the end.

www.matouk.com/

So….yeah….I’m trying to fold my fitted sheets.
It’s proving difficult.

Also trying to get a fitted sheet on a pillowtop bed is proving near impossible….hence the urgency in sharks with “freakin lazer beans attached to their heads”
