2012 Intel Core i5 2500K HTPC w. SSD
1) First, a 35W low power CPU Intel Core i3 2100T
2) Then, I installed a 95W unlocked (overclockable) Intel Core i5 Sandy Bridge 2500K
With the new heatsink I can run at 4.6 GHz at < 60 degrees C, whereas with the old fan, it would then quickly go to 90C, which is too high, and can damage the processor.
90GB SSD HDD
