Ellsworth Kelly, Red, Yellow, Blue II. 1965. Acrylic on canvas.
I especially love the color on the floor.
Kelly: "I want to eliminate the 'I made this' from my work." Not so easy!
The text by the work says the piece has something of the sacred and transcendent in it. But I don't need that to make the work feel powerful. I hate those interpretive little paragraphs so much sometimes.
Biography at the Guggenheim.

Hi, I would like to use your photo basically for a CD cover. Is it possible? Perhaps, you can mail me on fwandelus@yahoo.de and we can talk about the possibitiles and rights? Also knowing that the basics arts comes from Ellsworth Kelly, but your photo is also awesome!!
Thanks,
Frank
