Baby Bichon's photostream  

I photographed a wedding last Saturday, although not in it's entirety - it was only a 2 hour gig! Could do more of these!!!

One of them that stood out for me was this one, the groom was just in fits of laughter, and his best man (seen here on the right of the photo) was soooo funny and smiley LOL! There were a few lads that were just laughing and joking and this was one that I captured of the groom looking like he's just wet himself!

I haven't gotten round to processing them yet, so this is sooc. I've been through most of the photographs - and have to admit took quite a fair bit during the very short time I was there, when it comes to weddings I'm not one that is trigger happy, I wait for 'moments' to present itself, rather than keep clicking the shutter (just incase as some do). It was a bonus that it didn't rain (infact the sun came out and was quite warm) as they predicted it would be showers etc.

I also took my film camera to take some piccies in B&W, so that will be interesting...

I have to say that weddings is definitely not something I love to do, I do like being part of someone's day, and I enjoy the challenge don't get me wrong, but it's enormous pressure and for little ol' me can be quite a challenge! I think it stems from the group photos, I'm not a 'shouter' so I have to rely on the best man and/or volunteer from the wedding party to help rally the guests together. I do love the atmosphere at weddings (so obv. like being a guest rather than the one who has a black box stuck to her eye!) So I can safely say I'll leave it to the experts.

But this one was very easy and fun, so if I get more like this I'd be very happy!!!

On a really happier note (yes this post is verging on the sickenly 'happy' mode today!!) my gorgeous hubby bought me an IPad! It's ah-maz-ing! Why didn't we get one sooner? (And the photographs look better on screen too!)

He soon will be, one of his lower front teeth is on the verge of falling out any day now, worryingly though his new tooth is already coming through at the back of the milk tooth, so to me it won't be aligned, and don't know how to resolve that issue.

On another note, what is the going rate for the tooth fairy these days?

Ha, I happened to be watching 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' (ok, lame I know for most of you (!) but I have to say I really enjoy watching how 'awful' they are and it is quite funny in places - ok I take it your not convinced)...anyhoo the kid walked in and saw Kourtney Kardashian in one scene, turned to look at me then looked back at the TV and said 'mummy, why are you on the TV?'! He thinks I look exactly like Kourtney Kardashian - I'm not at all convinced myself, but you be the judge of that!

My 'new' camera arrived today - I bought a Nikon EL2 to add to my collection, actually it's to replace my Nikon EM that unfortunately broke this week :(

Can't wait to use it on my forthcoming hols in Portugal - I debated on whether to take my digital camera, but I can see this either a) getting dropped b) getting sand on it or c) both! So not taking chances, so my film camera and a little point and shoot borrowed from mother to tide me over during our trip will have to suffice.

Yep, another one of me, sorry it's so uninspiring, haven't had the opportunity of late to use my 'skillz' to the test. But anyhow it will have to do, at least its a change from colour!

I'm hoping that soon I can use my camera a little bit more as we're going on a Summer Holiday - and I cannot wait!

(And no I haven't cut my hair...;P)
