This is a 3 shot HDR taken at Off the Ave restaurant, just off Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida. Yesterday was the 42nd annual St Patrick’s Day parade. My intentions were to take photos of the parade, but after running late and not being able to find a parking spot for 30 min. I missed it! Later in the day I ended up at Off the Ave. As I sat drinking a beer I noticed that this would make a great HDR photo. I pulled out my camera, attached my Joby tripod, and started taking photos right on the bar. I had to take about 12-15 shots to get 3 with no people in them. Somehow the cook back there eluded me and snuck himself into my shot, well done on his part. Thankfully the bartender, and I believe the owner Adam was pretty cool, and just let me shot away. I tend to get a little nervous because it seems like it’s a 50/50 chance once I take out any form of tripod that him going to get questioned like I’m a criminal and asked to stop. But its always OK to take photos with the 8mp camera on my cell. Us photographers really love this double standard. I apologize for the rant, but it really drives me nuts.
