I believe all of these women are prepare this all for few days before. Even on the D day, they still prepare many small cultural routine in their own house. And when I took this picture, they still look so strong and happy.. and not forget to give me smile too... even it's hot :)
I can believe it because they prepare the (medium up to big size) offer almost every month, a small one also must be done everyday called 'ngejot'. What a wonderful dedication.

Happy Mother's Day.
Never ending story to explain what all mothers done to their families. They are ready to get the ticket to paradise. As Indonesian said "Heaven is under mother's feet" :)
I met this moment when through bypass Ida bagus Mantra, near Gianyar, Bali. All just in candid and I as my 'tradition', I showed this shot after taken. She so kind and I'm so happy to met her. She are waiting her husband because the motorcycle tyre was blown. Really give me inspiration to always love my mother... Miss you Mother :')

Balinese Meet Chinese
Barong dance Balinese dance is derived from the treasury Pre-Hindu culture. But when I heard that Barong also in Chinese, on first time, I quite surprised. Maybe a few years ago, many people comes from China came to Bali and mixed it with India Hindu's culture then they 'create' a new kind of Barong that we know as Balinese Barong.
Barong is a character in the mythology of Bali. He is the king of the spirits, leader of the hosts of good, and enemy of Rangda in the mythological traditions of Bali
The Barong is a powerful, protective, spirit, whose origin dates far back in time to ancient animism practised before the advent of Hinduism in Bali. Most Barong figures are animals, the most famous of which is the Barong Ket, a combination of a lion and tiger. The roles of the Barong Ket and other animal Barongs are performed by two people, one wearing the mask and the other wearing the costume. The other type of Barong are the Barong Landung, giant puppets, wearing masks and manipulated by a single performer.
I believe they are same genus but different species :)

You Bring Happiness to Everyone
That's not mean you are happy when you doing that.
The man in this photo is a 'Odong-Odong' man. Odong-odong is a mobile Indonesian Merry Go Round that operated by manual, powered by muscle machine (read: the man). This machine created as solution for children entertainment with feature: cheap and negotiable price. This machine also included with music (the red box). Even it only moving in same place, children are so enjoy when ride the machine... You wanna try? :D

Life is too complicated to understand, i think. People life for money and think how to get happy from that. Quite have relation about money and happy but not always exactly clear in the reality.
Too many poor people look so sad because they cannot feel so many things, no food, no entertainment... In the other side, rich people seems too stress to spent their money to get happy.
Happy is a thing that comes from heart, thing that you can't buy. It's a priceless.
Even you get negative situation such as disaster or bad condition, have no money or in economy crisis..you have choice how to accept that condition.
Happy is a present that you find gave you can fill full your heart with 'Acceptance'. No matter you are poor, rich, smart, stupid, handsome or ugly... acceptance is something that you must have. This is that make you different with other people in a same negative/problem situation.
So don't too worry about this life things (read: money). Money is come when you never give up.. put in your heart that you 'accepted what God gave to you, thank you to God for the money and health you get.. and be happy people!

Offering That Never Over
Ceremony is almost everyday and everywhere held around Bali. This island seems never stops to make offer to God.. Never over offering :)
As on the picture, they bring an offer such as apples, oranges, cake, etc...
Anything can be the offer as long as it get by the good way (not steal or cheat) and we like to bring that as the offer. This is only one way from so many way how to thanks to God.
Taken from somewhere (because I met this event just on the way back from Bedugul)
Really have no preparation to take this... just candid. :)
