During the Gadhamis festival, people from all around the country come
back in the old abandoned town (UNESCO listed) , and live for few days
inside the family house. The old town is really impressive to visit,
as it looks like an underground city, protected from the sun by
covered alleys, and very few windows in the houses. The kids are proud
to wear the traditional clothes, and for the girls, the family gold
and silver jewels.
Lots of Tuaregs also come from around to celebrate the town.
