Boyfriend and I went out today because I wanted to show him an awesome chocolate body lotion they have at The Body Shop. While we were out things started changing and all of a sudden we were in the middle of a shopping frenzy!

I got a free rental DVD (we chose the movie Hall Pass) and we decided to go all in with the whole "movie night" concept (it is our fake weekend after all), which is I wanted those two small bags of chips and the Coca Cola Light, and my boyfriend wanted the Twix, the bag of sweets and the two Swiss rolls (that man is a bottomless pit when it comes to anything edible).
As for non-movie-night related products we also bought a beautiful tote bag at Esprit, a small foldable pink hairbrush, shaving balm (for boyfriend...), a Nivea body lotion that smells soooo nice and a very cute pyjamas for me! :)

I also got a gift (the green one), but more on that some other time ;)

It's been a long day and I'm gonna hurry off for a shower now. For dinner tonight we're having Portabello Pizza, a recipe I found the other day that sounds absolutely amazing!

Having a boyfriend who is working with the ocean you'll have to create the weekends when there's time for them. Like today. He got off his 7-day long shift this afternoon so now it's the weekend for us! Yay!

During an incredibly awful period of my life I photographed a little more than I usually did. I was quitting a medicine I'd taken for a little over 6 months, and it was literally hell. I can now say I know what real abstinence is. The sick thing is I didn't know it was abstinence until a few weeks had passed (at that point I was certain I was going to die). Sometimes during that period I had to drive quite far. When my symptoms got too bad for me to be driving I found small roads leading into nowhere where I stopped the car and spent an hour photographing. After that I usually felt at least a little better so I could continue my drive. Just photographing has taken me through so many things I probably wouldn't have been alive without it.

There are few things that are better than cuddling up against the duvets and pillows in bed a lazy morning.
