As soon as I connected, logged in to my Amazon account and synced, I got my Kindle library up and running.

The back has a matte metallic look with smooth rubbery feel. Feels nice to grip.
It looks big from this photo but since it doesn't have the keyboard anymore, it really is small.
Taadaa! All paper! The sole plastic part of the packaging is the sheet that's stuck on the screen for protection.
A barcode art and a "frustration Free" logo (which is Amazon's trademark too).
I really like how they did the packaging for Kindle. Cheap, environment friendly, strong and beautiful. A generally well designed box.
