WOW very nice job Cian. You picked a fabulous angle to shoot from. The only thing I might have done was wait for the boat to get in...not a big deal. Nice job.

This has the potential to be improved, I like the idea of this as there is real interest in a couple of key areas. The tall building and the fort are really intresting, I am always looking to them. So I would prefer a much more focal point towards them. right now I look at them, then I get distracted over to the left, which is quite busy with no real interest. The river boat and the restaturant/bar on the water I think detract from the true focus of this photo.
I like it, but would love to see a tighter crop.

I wish the frame was shifted just slightly to the left to include more of that building which is cut in half, or you crop it out completely. I like the skyline, beautiful city. I have only been to the airport, would love to get out and see the rest. That all said I think the only other thing it could use is a punch of contrast and saturation to make it vicious. Oh almost forgot, I wish I could see more of the water and that boat. Cool shot tho dude.

This is a very interesting, if not typical city scape shot. The building that adds the most interest is the rocket shaped one. Perhaps a bit tighter cropping, removing the boat from the bottom of the picture would highlight this building more.

The picture is focused and well exposed. I enjoyed looking at it.

very beautiful how there are so many different style of buildings, really old looking and really modern ones, and how they all mix together with nature!... awesome job!!!

I see a lot of potential in this photo, but as of now, I'm not very compelled by it. Maybe that's partly personal taste: I've never gotten what was so cool about sky lines. This sky line is different because of the variety of the buildings: there's that rocket shaped building at the right and then some older buildings toward the left. SInce I'm sort of new to sky-line-type photos, I'll just write what I observe, but I want to let you know that most of what I write could be complete garbage (or rubbish, if you like). So basically, I'm learning by writing this comment as much as you might learn from reading it.

Btw, I've actually been here quite a few times and I always loved the rocket building!

Anyway, to start, I think the photo would create more interest if you chose a slightly different angle, and were careful to see which buildings to include and which buildings you might not need. Even if it's not as important as the other buildings, I'd definitely include the rocket building 'cause it looks the coolest!
In terms of the framing, I would also try to include less sky, and more buildings, and maybe more river.
Also, if you want to include a boat, don't crop it off! Either don't include boats, or include their entire bodies. Be nice to the boats! If you had angled the camera a little more down (I am, of course, assuming that that was possible), then you would have captured less boring sky, more river, and an entire boat.
I'd also be interested in seeing what a vertical photo might look like, even if it can't be called a skyline anymore.
Either way, a tighter crop would be nicer, paying more attention to the more aesthetically interesting portions of the photo.

Not that this matters as much, but the photo would also look more interesting if it were taken under better lighting conditions. Here the colors look very bland, and warming them up might produce some more heated interest. Better colors might also help differentiate between the different buildings. I still think that a major forte in this photo is the variety of buildings.

Well, I might've been a bit too nit-picky on a bit too much random stuff, but... well, tough luck! Anyway, good job, and the photo definitely has potential.

Very neat buildings.

There is nothing really wrong with this image. It is a fine skyline, but I feel like it just isn't that interesting. I think since skylines have been so over done, they really need something unique to make them stand out.
