I just got it off eBay last night and the ad didn't mention macro capibilities. Its going to take 2 weeks to get it, wayyyyy too long! From what I have seen of the pictures taken ( even tho there are more pictures with the 2.4 version instead of the 2.8) with this lens, I am going to love it!

Never heard of 35mm f2.4 Flektogon. There were several versions of 2.8 (four according to Captain Jack). If yours is a later automatic black/chrome or all-black model it should focus as close as 18 cm (0.6 ft). I guess that's why it is called "Macro-Flektogon". Anyway, great glass for a wider-than-normal range.
