Caption information mostly gleaned from the Kevin Duffus book "The Last Days of Black Beard The PirAte" in which he challenges the notion of a Bristol, England birthplace for Blackbeard, & places it instead right next to the Outer Banks of NC!

Re-enactment / documentary being shot in Ocracoke Silver Lake Harbor, Oct 26 2013. Silver Lake Harbor is dredged & did not exist during the time of Blackbeard, but it is only a couple of miles(or less) to the supposed actual battle-space.
