chicago italian beef

i found a coupon in the houston press for a free chicago style hot dog with the purchase of any sandwich. stephanie mentioned the pastrami sammich, and since i have never had that before i just had to try it. the hot dog was pretty good (i took the tomatoes off since there is a salmonella scare right now) and the sandwich was absolutely delicious! it had thin slices of juicy pastrami, pickles, sauerkraut, provolone & onions on rye. the entire thing was $6!

yes! they had a batch w/ cauliflower, peppers, onions & jalapenos. they also had marinated cucumbers!!! yuuum. totally fell in love with this place.
