Can someone who knows please help me with identifying this marvellous bridge scenery? It's a bridge in Budapest that crosses the Danube. I am going to make a large print of this and would like to be able to identify the scenery. The photo is shot hand-held with a Nikon D70 plus 18-70 DX kit lens, from a ferry cruising the Danube on 3rd of May 2005.

I remember leaning against the railing when shooting the picture but I did not use any support other than my hands. I am still amazed by the quality of the D70 set on aperture priority and matrix metering. Too bad a hard drive crash destroyed the original RAW file :-(

Amazing picture especially considering it was shot hand-held. The bridge is called "The chain Bridge".

Neat shot! The bridge is called in Hungarian the 'Széchenyi Lánchíd'. Széchenyi being one of the richest people in Hungary, started campainging for building a bridge spanning over the Danube. The bridge got it's name from the chains which hold it together.

Living 10 blocks away... :)
