Moeraki Boulders
The Moeraki Boulders are a very popular photography location on the Otago coastline. Good shots tend to rely on high tides corresponding with the sunrise or sunset. Something that doesn't happen all too often. On this morning the sunrise was a little dull so I did a few BW conversions.

Nape Nape sunrise
A great location on the East coast of the South Island where white limestone and grey sand contrast. My first time to this spot and will definetely be heading back!
On this recent trip I drove around the whole South Island (around 2,000 km) over 11 days, but only got a couple of decent shots. Despite the volcanic ash cloud hanging over the country sunsets and rises were relatively sedate. The best one being at Nape Nape in the above photo.

West coast starfish colony
An amazing starfish colony on the west coast of New Zealand. Used a couple of gradient filters on this one to balance out the exposure.
