Lower Cathedral Lake Panorama
This will be my last photo from Cathedral Lake in Yosemite, at least of a while as I've grown somewhat backlogged on new photos so I should include a little more variety.
This was shot along the shot of Lower Cathedral Lake, almost directly between the locations of the other two shots I've already posted from the lake (here and here.) I took this with my Sigma 10-20mm so as to be able to bring in a lot more of the foreground and sky even on a 180° panorama. Unfortunately I still clipped off the shoreline a bit when trying to stitch it together (that's what you get for doing it freehand rather than with a tripod). This was also a bit of an experiment to see how well I could stitch a panorama of shots made with an ND grad filter. It didn't seem to create any problems at all. Not much to add on top of what I've already said - this was a stunning lake and a great hike. Like everything in Yosemite I can't recommend it enough.
