Starling 1

I truly believe that this adult starling (left) has a look of desperation! This poor parent was feeding not one, but six squawking young for the better part of an hour--all much larger that it was. By the time all the young starlings at our feeder were eating on their own that summer, the adults looked like they needed a vacation!
