I consider myself a pretty unflappable guy. Y'know, moderately cynical. I've seen and heard (maybe even said) my fair share of offensive things.

But this sign made me stop and say "heeeeeeyyyy..."

For some people, this may actually be about policy and not about race; to those people, I say that people like this man poison the validity of your cause and movement.

This is horrible, reprehensible, and makes me want to shoot someone. Or expatriate. Or the first, then the second.

And who is calling him "massa" in this case -- white people who have decided to talk like caricatures of slaves? Are they implying that he's forcing everyone into slave-like submission?

I realize I shouldn't be trying to analyze bullshit, but for some reason this stands out as the most retarded thing I've seen across all the teabag photos I've been browsing. I'm a little fascinated by how completely incoherent it is.

One can read these literally and they say one thing as NoHoDamon explains, but they also have wording or phrasing with racial or facist overtones. The words Massa and plantation in this sign for instance. Its almost like children trying to test the limits with their parents and throwing in forbidden words casually into conversation to test the boundaries.
