2006-08-26 Memento mori
At the Brugge cemetery, Belgium. Memento mori.
My great thanks to Sodabowski, he did the enhancement of the pic, so it rocks even more.
Added to the Cream of the Crop pool as most favorited/most interesting.

yeah! i want that too on my grave!
i don't know it in brugge.
[ henning ] (82 months ago | reply)
Hey Jeronimo's Eye! I never heard of this burial ground before too. When I visited Brugge with a friend, it was my thought, that such an old city must have such an old cemetery. We found it on a map in the south of the city.
I'll need a great amount of such decorations later in my pyramid too.

I'm afraid to! What have you done? The wallpaper from hell is all-consuming! It will eventually take control of all our appliances! Is this the #5 bus?

This is web 2.0! The wallpapier is doing now all your work: shopping, mating, blogging, flickring - with the friendly use of your credit-card-number. Just lean back and see.

treasure seeking with you is *fun* - and graveyard walks can be much nicer than walking tourist paths or even than (haha) watching bad movies, right?! KP
PS. and i think that guy was an evil pirate.
Mr Nylon [deleted] (82 months ago | reply)
Now that is what you call a skull!
great find*
[ henning ] (82 months ago | reply)
@ augenstern: aber hallo. It was more fun being 3 hours at a cemetery with you than 4 hours at a cinema watching boring shit.
The grave is the one of Captain Roderic M. Steenblood, freebooter of the seven seas.
@ Mr Nylon: Gracias. I saw your skull-collection - great.

Excellent !!! I did not know that one !! Did you try putting your hand in the mouth to see if the grave opens ???
[ henning ] (81 months ago | reply)
Thanks a lot.
NO! Like Indiana Jones I'm afraid of spiders, scorpions and bugs, so i did't dare that. Besides I had to carry my camera with the right and my whip and the treasure map with the left, so I had no free hand.

In Brugge?!? This is really awesome.
I'm going to visit it. As soon as possible
[ henning ] (81 months ago | reply)
Hoi e3000! Gracias.
You'll find the cemetery in the south of the city. This special grave everyone loves so much is in the row with the oldest graves, right side from the main entrance - but a bit hidden (no kidding).
Have fun!

[ henning ] (80 months ago | reply)
Hoi Sunflower06: thank you. When I'll be in Brugge next time, I'll have a second look too.
