Yes, that's an external raid hard drive. From Other World Computing.

The keyboard is a TypeMatrix. I wanted a keyboard that felt like a laptop keyboard, and this one is fantastic. It even has extra "enter" and "delete" keys in the center. Because I touch type dvorak, I decided that any labels on the keys were superfluous, so I got a blank one!

Of course, since this picture was taken I got a bigger desk. Photo of that soon...
