Tarot : 9 of Pentacles - III

Mixed Media (Acryl and Pastel).

3 takes on the same Tarot card. It is a fascinating one, with many associations, from its own TAROT meaning but also from I GING to KABBALAH and the more known ASTROLOGY and PLANETS but also the ZEN tarot fits in and all of them combine to one meaning.

I can't quite put my finger on what I like so much about this one...

I like the great attention to shadowing and subsequent 3D effect on the green in the foreground...

I like the subtle balance of shape, green in lower right and purple in upper left...

I like the arc of light in the middle of the composition...

and I like its long, rectangular shape...
