Madisonville Pelicans
OK, this is definitely the last pelican shot I will post. Maybe the last shot from Madisonville unless I decide to work on one more shot of the boat.

Abandoned, but not Forgotten
Abandoned tugboat on Lake Pontchartrain in Madisonville, Louisiana. I spent about 4 hours here taking different shots of this ship, the lighthouse, and the pelicans. I estimate that five or six other people came to take pictures of this ship during that time. None seemed willing to spend their day like I did.
I took 7 exposures ranging from 4 to 30 seconds, but only ended up using two of them for this composite - one for the sky and one for the water. Once I chose the two exposures I wanted, I spent a few hours duplicating, layering, masking, blending, and pixel painting to get the final image.
