Take sheets of filo pastry and cut into circles. Paint a sheet of filo with butter, and lay another on top until you have a stack of three sheets. Make about 6 of these stacks. Bake the stacks until just brown. Right before serving (otherwise the filo will get soggy); take one of the filo stacks, and cover with a layer of patisserie cream, followed by whipped cream; finally, a dusting of confectioners sugar, and a scattering of sliced almonds. Add another layer of filo, and repeat; using the last filo stack as the lid. Decorate the top of the mille feuille with more confectioners sugar. Commentsbosquetango
