Sometimes I wish I were heartless. Sometimes I wish I weren't so tender-hearted and so easily drawn in by love. Sometimes I wish I knew how to speak my mind, say how I really feel, instead of being so afraid of hurting other people.... so ready to be hurt myself instead.

Sometimes I think it would just be easier to cut my heart out.

And the pain of love... Well isn't it just strange how its both tragic and beautiful? Strange, how.... we jump into it, investing everything, without knowing anything about the outcome?

I wouldn't mind being... less willing to love, but oh! The thrill of being the receiver does make it worth it, dear. :)

Don't get me wrong, I am in love, completely. But I still get my heart broken way too easily. No matter how hard I try to harden myself, it just doesn't happen.
