Grand Hyatt Shanghai Hotel Lobby from the bottom floor up ...

This is one of the highest hotel lobbies in the world. You can actually shoot it through reinforced glass from the Jin Mao Tower Observatory which you can see at the top of this picture\, but I got a lot of reflections from incoming sunlight.

I went to the hotel itself, but obviously the lifts up were for guests only so we drank something in the lobby

....I needed a guest card to get up....In the end I hitched a lift with another guest and just pressed the top floor button...It was worth the effort...as you can see from the previous picture

A Shanghai tourist trap for some, a fun ride for most, a long exposure must for me.....a pedestrian only tunnel in which small trains take you from the Bund to Pudong on the other side of the Huangpu River ....

This guy was doing all kinds of weird jumps with a friend taking shots with a flash. I joined shooting trying to sync myself with the other camera to borrow a bit of flash....thankfully they counted before jumping.....seen at Time Square at the end of the afternoon....

I wish I had so much more time for people and smaller street scenes, but the business trip that brought me there was too jam packed with meetings and events....New York is a 16 hour flight from HK, but I am still thinking of going back for a holiday and photo trip....

Just started digging into my fresh and older archives for something new....thankfully my new Lightroom workflow makes me review a lot of cool stuff.....
