Ouroboros

This was The Boyfriend's gift to me this Christmas - a small ouroboros pendant, made by the fine people at Cosmic Jewels in Israel. From a look at their website, they're heavily into Kabbalah and cosmic geometry. The tightly-scrolled pamphlet that came with the pendant promises "various levels of physical and emotional effects" due to their mystical properties.

I'm a cynic, so I find that a bit flaky. But it is a very nice piece of work, and a very thoughtful gift. So it is much appreciated. And fun to photograph, too....

Also, it just occurred to me, this is my second gold snake this year. Third, if you count these....
