More than 80 people - UC Berkeley students, faculty, community members, retirees, grandparents, children, junior high school students, and three dogs - all took turns sitting in an oak tree at Memorial Oak Grove in Berkeley from Thurs Feb 15th at 9am until Friday at 9am (for 24 hours) to support the tree-sitters' free speech right to stay in the trees "as long as it takes" to save the trees.
