GAPP 2012 / Regensburg Part # 1
Andy, Wendy, and I spent Saturday touring the old city of Regensburg where Andy once lived and attended university, as they say in Europe. The city was beautiful and was located by the Danube River that once brought goods from around the empire that were sold in market squares throughout the market plazas. As a center of commerce, the city was one of the most wealthy in Bavaria. A stone bridge was built across the river that withstood the wrath of floods that destroyed other wooden bridges nearby. The city was like a postcard you could walk through!
