I'm borrowing the keychain idea from Kevin Honeycutt, http://web.mac.com/khoneycuttessdack/Kevin/Central_files/iCiLKeyRingTags%28expanded%29_1.xls
There is a lot people can take from Comics. Calvinball is a good example.

Here we are at the start of the presentation.
I want this section to represent the foundation for the tools of the digital toolkit.
I want to start the immersion of the creative process for the audience.
I want people to explore some of the tools. I figure using the jigsaw method would help them construct and connect their knowledge that can possible extend into their classroom.
This represents the conclusion of the presentation.

Common Pedagogical Theories

Behaviorism
Cogntivism
Constructivism
These learning theories leave some holes given today's informational age landscape: the volume of information, the network of learners, and the capacity to know more is more important than what is now known.
The tool does improve anything. example: Blogging does make the students better writers. It takes something else.
The tool only becomes success when a teacher puts the tool in the right context and uses sound instruction practices.

What are we trying to accomplish in the classroom?

I like using Understanding by Design.
Industrial Age Education Doesn't Work Anymore

But we already knew that
Kids are producers of original content...

JUST NOT IN THE CLASSROOM!
To address today's students we need to change the paradigm of teaching and learning.
So we need a new toolkit to help educate students in the Information Age.
Technology's role is to support the new paradigm not lead.
