Thanks, glad you guys enjouyed this one. They are actually pretty silly birds..cute nevertherless. We had to maintain a 15ft distance from them but once in a while if you sat still they would come to us and then we had to be careful and not make sudden movements.
They are not scared of humans as they do not have land based predators..only sea lions who hunt them down in the sea.

Gorgeous!!! Do you know that until I was in college, I thought penguins were the height of humans? LOL All those kids books that show them walking around looking like they're dressed for a formal occasion. I just had that picture in my head. Then I went to a zoo and there were these little 12-18" creatures...my whole world was turned upside down!!!!! LOLOL
