Golden Highlights
2010-04-18 - Moogerah Camping
Sunrise at Lake Moogerah.
Looking away from sunrise gave some interesting scenes, especially once the low angled light started hitting the grass, giving a lovely golden appearance with striking highlights.
Probably the only shot from this particular trip I'm reasonably happy with!

Peculiar location to shoot (at least for me)... I've never been comfortable getting shots I'm happy with at Moogerah, and this holds true. Something not quite right here, not sure what? Either way, thought I'd at least upload one shot from the sunrise itself!

Fingal Moods
2010-04-16 - Sunrise @ Fingal Point - Northern NSW
Since finishing my Canada series, I've been trawling through my image archives for unprocessed shots - this was one of them. Thought I'd process it with a slightly darker and more moody style than usual, not sure what I think of it (or whether it works). Either way - hope you enjoy :)
A shot much later on in the sunrise, the same morning I took the one below... Nowhere near as happy with this one as I was with the previous one :(

Iconic Curtis
2009-04-10 - Curtis Falls - Mt Tamborine, Gold Coast Hinterland, QLD, AUS
I'd completely forgotten about this shoot, at which I'd met up with Russ (runs Australian Digital Photo of the Day @ www.potd.com.au) to shoot Curtis Falls up at Mt Tamborine in the Gold Coast Hinterland. No doubt I've got a lot of these 'forgotten' shoots, but hopefully these will be attended to now that my Canada series has come to an end :)
