A late night camp-out near keswick for some Dark Skies action during the Perseid shower last month with Mr D and families.
This was the view to the South from Ashness Bridge as it had the least (pretty much none) light pollution. An amazing volume of stars were visible and plenty of meteors passed through but the 450D/Me combination just wasn't up to catching them. The brighter trail at the bottom is Jupiter passing through.
