... and a few from Peter too.
My American family and friends are celebrating Thanksgiving today,
even though it's not very well known in Holland it is a day we don't
let go by unnoticed in our household.
We don't have a big turkey dinner with all the trimmings but we take a moment to say thanks for everything that enriches our lives.
For health and happiness, for love received from- and love given to eachother and our critters. For work in these challenging economic times. For faith and strength.
For good health for my mom. For having the gift to enjoy nature and the simple things in life, in peace, joy and harmony. For friendship.
Life is fragile and can change from one moment to the other, we're all busy and it's easy to forget how blessed we are, even in trying times.
Flickr is on the side burner for the time being but I wanted to thank
you all for being such wonderful friends. I value your friendship
tremendously, thank you for your interest in life at Foppe's Acre, for
your compassion and support, for making me a part of your life too.
I realise my posts are not always easy, I ask a lot from my friends to wrestle through my lengthy texts and I know I make it difficult for you to get away with just 'beautiful' and 'pretty'. Therefore I thank you for your meaningful reactions and loyalty.
Happy Thanksgiving from Foppe and all the residents at his acre:-)
