Three Skaters

I set my camera up on a tripod, then started shooting with the interval timer. I blended in the images of the further skaters in PS. The skaters are all me. I had a Cokin 2-stop soft ND grad filter

This a fun picture. Did you use the ND Grad so as not to have an overblown sky when you merged the shots, or did you only take the figures from the other shots? And what interval was the D200 set to take the pictures at?
