French Robots
Illustration scanned from the March 1982 issue of Omni Magazine. The image accompanied the article "French Robots" written by Jasia Reichardt.
After uploading this image to my blog the sister of the artist (who had created the image nearly 20 years earlier) found it and sent me an email. The artist is Jean-Luc Moreau and he had created the image in a class in Paris under the instruction of legendary French poster artist Roman Cieslewicz. He passed away February 14th, 1996. I'm glad my Flickr account and blog can cotinue to give the artwork exposure to a new audience.

mate, I really love these vintage sci fi scans, really cool stuff, I've got a few old paperbacks like these, but no scanner, I'll try to sort something out. Anyway, good stuff.
